Wallace joins coaching staff in Edinburgh

2

After Lee Wallace confirmed recently
he was coaching an amateur side twice a week, he has now been promoted to
backroom staff at Edinburgh’s
Tynecastle FC.
Not to be confused with the team from the namesake stadium,
Tynecastle FC play in the East of Scotland Football League at Fernieside
Recreation Ground, and Wallace joins the coaching staff from next season.

The Rangers defender has been
growing in stature in recent weeks, from his candid honesty in interviews which
blended optimism, sincerity and realism, to his admission that he is already
coaching at amateur level, and lastly his heartfelt gesture to away fans at
Easter Road confirming his commitment to the Ibrox cause.
His preparation for life after
football is in clear earnest, and the man is a candidate for future manager of
Rangers if his coaching career takes off as he clearly intends it to.
He will not be hands-on at
Fernieside due to his Ibrox commitments but he is an invaluable addition to
their staff and his credibility continues to grown in Govan.
