NOMAD – time is running out, fast

31

As discussed recently here, an
issue of now-increasing alarm is that of Rangers and the NOMAD.
As much as that sounds like a
cartoon about a group of scouts and their lonesome friend, it is in actual fact
becoming a thoroughly pressing issue.

It is now March 30th
and exactly five days remain of the 28 Dave King stated on March 6th
would be required for negotiations with the chosen NOMAD.
That, quite simply, is alarm
bells material. Rangers have till Saturday till the Plc is delisted from the
LSE due to lack of NOMAD, and Friday is meant to be the last day for
negotiations regarding said NOMAD.
What has become evident is
Rangers are struggling to find one. Rumours have failed to desist regarding the
queue of NOMADs who have allegedly rejected the gig, and the worrying links
with Allenby Capital have not entirely dissipated either.
Allenby Capital is a Mayfair broker, which is not the cause for alarm.
Its founder is. Imran Ahmad.
Beyond his suing of the Club ala
Martin Bain style, and frankly absurd claims of investing £50M, Ahmad is
tainted by associated with previous regimes, not least his association, like so
many, with Media House’s Jack Irvine.
The point is while Rangers cannot
go public with negotiations regarding any NOMAD, due to diligence rules and
corporate law, the fact fans have not heard anything does indicate these
negotiations are still ongoing.
And that is deeply concerning.

  1. What about the nomad that DK said was in place, were they not going to hit the ground running. It looks like he wanted to delist the club all along, more bluster from him and his board

    • That NOMAD was rumoured to be Allenby Capital but they seem to be slightly wary of Squint – Craig W told them he was slippery and some were saying they didn't fancy getting into bed with Amy either.

    • Squint is an anagram of a hollywood superstar, now a famous director. Not a straight shooter or even clear sighted but no stygmatic comments appreciated.

  2. Sorry but this is like the gutter press. It only becomes a story when Rangers get a Nomad or don't get one.

    • Hi Alan, I'm with you matey, and I have never known such a level of ignorance since Bill Struth himself was under the bridges of Paris.

    • Alan, I'm the same. Your insights are truly profaned because if it doesn't involve the people it isn't a story at all. I don't care if I never sell a share, I've bought in five times and I never wanted to see a penny back.WATP.

    • I retired at 51 to the Cayman Islands where I live very comfortably. My local tax reference number is 960977ZY but I don't pay much so this account is often inactive. Looks like you work nighshift. Hospital slops porter? You can call me 960 if you like. Thanks Skanky, you're a good sport.

  4. i'd be more worried about the £278,000 that allegedly leaves ibrox every month – approx 3 million a year- and is rumoured to be for rent. if this is true, and as yet it hasnt been denied, it would explain why ibrox cant be used as security and if it comes to pass that someone such as charles green owns ibrox then the sfa should be held accountable for allowing so many shysters near scottish football in the first place
this doesnt appear to have been picked up by the media either and one would have to question why not, do they know something we dont, if its not true then why havent we been told officially thats its unfounded

    • The source of your information has been reporting all the other truths ignored by the sheer disgraceful apology for a media we have had in Scotland for rthe last 3 3 and a half years. Main culprits have been HK and KJ. For legal reasons i am not allowed to spell out who owns Ibrox, bout could well be shareholders who rhyme with Margarita and BluePitch.

    • To be fair, you seem to have a nose for this and you well represent your own product. Try googling "stenographers will obediently regurgitate". Have a great Easter all you bears!

    • Anonymous 30 March at 18:34. Where the hell do idiots like you get this kind of crap from? £278,000 a month "Allegedly" "rumoured" for rent. No one's denied it because it's a load of guff that someone's made up and that's also the reason the Scottish media haven't "picked up on it." You must be either extremely gullible or one of the obsessed from the other side.

    • Anonymous30 March 2015 at 23:55, he is most certainly an idiot, but the Scottish Media have been taking you for one for a long time. Google "278,000 per month phil ie" and bookmark that site. We are in such a mess we will never get out of it. Imagine us going into admin again and trying to claim we were still the same club. Who do you think you're kidding?

    • if its 'a load of guff that someone's made up' why not discredit the person by issuing a statement or taking legal action. in fact why not put everyones minds at rest and show us the deeds to ibrox. bomber brown asked this a while back and the question still hasnt been answered

    • Anonymous 31 March 2015 at 08:28 Rangers won't bother to act on it because it wouldn't be worth the time or effort. Who cares what these idiots are claiming? If Rangers were to take to court everyone who came out with rubbish like that there wouldn't be time to do anything else. It's bad enough the obsessed from the East polluting Rangers forums with this kind of nonsense, but it's worse when the paranoid among our own supporters start believing it. Get a grip.

    • I used to accept Chris even with his faults including homophobia but when he started insinuating about Prince William that was a red line for me and my partner.

  5. " we have our club back". Brilliant. Seems toe as much of a shambles as ever. As long as people buy that toilet roll they will keep printing bad "news". The whole country is being run by tims and we sit back and keep voting for them. They are killing our club and we are condoning it. Open your eyes people
