Pedro drops big hint about Rangers midfielder

Pedro Caixinha has today confirmed the potential return of forgotten man Jordan Rossiter.

The former U19 England captain’s spell at Ibrox has been completely blighted by injury, with a back problem derailing his first season in Govan before an all-new knee injury laying him out in recent weeks.

Rangers linked to Celtic and Forest SPL target

According to ‘Football Whispers’ Hibernian’s John McGinn continues to be linked with an unlikely switch to Rangers, with the ‘whisper’ rating not too far behind that of confirmed target Jamie Walker.

The midfielder, who has four appearances for Scotland under his belt, has been a mainstay of Hibernian’s first team for some considerable time now, and has been a consistent and impressive performer for the Edinburgh side down in the Championship and now in the SPL.

Why Rangers are so far behind - is Gordon Strachan onto something?

Scotland manager “wee” Gordon Strachan today made what initially seemed a barmy comment about Scotland being ‘genetically behind’.

His theory was that, just like his own moniker, Scotland are simply too small, and it is the bigger, tougher teams who always prevail over us.

This does seem ridiculous on the surface – his own argument admitted the brilliance of Spain and they too are hardly known for being man giants. And yet, when we take this argument into the Celtic dominance of the domestic game, and Rangers being so far behind, it does have a shred of truth to it.

Has THIS Rangers star benefited most from Pedro?

In charge now for over six months, Pedro Caixinha still significantly divides opinion of Rangers fans down the middle. For every likeminded soul as ourselves who has major doubts over his ability, there are others who believe he must be given more time.

However, there has been one unexpected bonus of his arrival in Govan, and that has been the marked improvement in form of James Tavernier. We at Ibrox Noise have been meaning to cover this topic for weeks, but we have to admit, if one player has tangibly benefited from Caixinha, it has been the first-choice right back.

Interest growing in reported Rangers target

As reported on the site at the tail end of last month, Rangers have been strongly linked with St Mirren midfielder Lewis Morgan. Recent reports claim Pedro’s men have recently upped their interest in the 21-year old who currently sits second in the Championship scoring standings with an impressive five goals from eight matches.

The Buddies similarly sit a point clear at the top of Scotland’s second top tier and a great deal of that is thanks to Morgan, who is impressing many admirers at the moment, and has been linked with a few clubs, not just the Ibrox men.

Rangers hit by new injury blow?

Bruno Alves has been left out of Portugal’s clash with Andorra along with Swansea’s Renato Sanches due to continuing fitness concerns, it has emerged today.

Despite some outlets claiming he has been ‘dropped’, national coach Fernando Santos has decided neither player is worth the risk in a match the Selecção should probably win with their eyes closed.

How Miller's absence may have led to this unexpected problem at Ibrox

Something which a number of Bears may have noticed of the past three matches is the sudden absence of any goals from previously on-fire Alfredo Morelos.

Sure, even the greatest strikers do have barren spells, that is a well documented occurrence in football, but the timing of Morelos’ is more than a touch of correlation with the similar absence of his team mate Kenny Miller.

Correlation, of course, is the study of relationships between variables – not necessarily the cause or reason, but certainly the existence of a cohesion between two aspects – one affects the other.
