Rangers in four-way stand off?

Rangers currently find themselves embroiled in a very curious four-way battle. At around the same time, three big English clubs are managerless and Rangers are in the same market as they all are, with the same names all being touted for the top jobs.

First to be relieved of duty was Everton’s Ronald Koeman, after a pretty dreadful spell of results at Goodison. The Toffees had splashed out over 150M Euros on players, yet got little return on that from their Dutch coach before dispensing with him.

Rangers linked with second bid for West Ham midfielder

 Article by: Ibrox Noise

Rangers have been linked with returning for a second bite at the cherry over the past 24 hours. In a story that has resurfaced from January’s failed bid, Pedro Caixinha has been loosely mooted with trying again where predecessor Mark Warburton failed and signing Portugal’s Domingos Quina, a 17 year old attacking midfielder the Bread Man was unable to bring in during the winter transfer window.

Naturally the Portuguese connection is significantly driving this one, with West Ham arguably more receptive to loaning the kid out to a countryman, but if this was a player Warburton was after, does that not already pour cold water over it looking at his record?

Will Reece Oxford agree the switch to Ibrox?

 Article by Richard Fillingham

Rangers are reported to be close to signing a loan deal for the services of West Ham’s 18-year-old centre back, Reece Oxford. Boss Mark Warburton rates the youth team player extremely highly and feels that he could prove to be pivotal to Rangers' bid to finish second in the SPL this season and help with a good cup run.

If London Stadium's Oxford does land at Ibrox he will become the third Premier League youngster to move across the border on a temporary basis until the end of this season. Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman and Arsenal's Jon Toral have both signed up with Warburton's men in the hope of receiving regular first team football.

Rangers invite former Newcastle star to train

According to the Daily Mail, former Newcastle United midfielder Kevin Nolan has been invited by Mark Warburton to trial/train at Rangers.

Nolan, a free agent, supposedly has offers on the table from a variety of suitors, including continental outfits, but the Rangers interest comes as something of a surprise and the ex-West Ham & Bolton playmaker would be a left-field addition to Rangers’ squad, given his age and Warbs’ predilection for younger players.
