Why are our 'losers' their 'winners'?

While a previous entry alluded to the players in question simply not having the heart or mental capacity to withstand the pressure which comes from being a Ranger, and while Chris Sutton’s joke tweet about Harry Forrester is as much a dig at us as usual by Mutton as it is anything else, unfortunately there really is a bit of a growing issue with Rangers’ attacking departures.

When it began with Joe Garner and Barrie McKay both scoring on their debuts, it was just a curious oddity, but for it to have persisted in both their cases plus continued on with the likes of Martyn Waghorn and Michael O’Halloran (whose form for St Johnstone has led to Scotland calls) truly starts to beg the question of why all these guys failed to hit the heights at Ibrox, yet are managing to do so at similar levels (if not higher) of football (if not club) since their exits.

Joe Garner: "Rangers are behind me"

 Article by: Ibrox Noise

Before I continue this entry, if any Bear reading likes, respects, admires or has no bad words to say about Joe Garner; I would advise you to close your browser and move on from this piece and live in the happy and blissful bubble away from criticism of the man. We really cannot be bothered with a barrage of defence of ex-players who disgraced the shirt as has happened before. Save that hangwringing nonsense for elsewhere.

Now for the rest of you; Joe, having (thankfully) completed his £1M move to Ipswich, has happily admitted Rangers are essentially history to him and we are ‘behind him’.

Flop duo close to Ibrox exit: reports

While Rangers’ expected summer exodus has been more of a trickle, flop duo Joe Garner and Josh Windass do appear on the cusp of exiting Ibrox.

With Clint Hill and Philippe Senderos the only two notable departures, Rangers have struggled a tad to get the unwanted surplus off the books, but two of ex-manager Mark Warburton’s biggest failures look set to get moves out of Ibrox, with Windass nearing a switch to Championship Hull and Garner closing in on a switch to Ipswich.

Rangers to make a move for second ex-Hearts captain?

After summer 2015’s securing of ex-Hearts captain Danny Wilson, Rangers have been persistently linked with another.

Christophe Berra was recently released by Ipswich and it has been confirmed by his soon to be ex-manager Mick McCarthy that the ex-Wolves stopper wants to return to Scotland to be closer to his family:
