Mini meltdown in progress. We’ll have something more substantial for you to dissect from the carcass of that atrocity in due course.

Normal progress will resume soon.

    1. Funny I didn’t see King or the rest of the Board on the pitch. That said I sure as shit never saw a fucking Rangers Team either... Away with your sack the Board shite...Players to blame period

    2. 100% correct Billy. Yes,the timing of Kong's statement was awful but he wasn't the one dictating the 'tactics'/ I also glad Ian now retired I would hated going into the workplace tomorrow after that disgrace. Honestly, particularly in the first half, that's the worst Rangers performance I can remember against Celtic: much worse than Pedro or the Bread Man. it was truly gutless. Only one player deserves any wages after that and that was Tavernier I feel truly embarrassed not to be a Rangers supporter BUT a supporter of that particular team today. They were complete disgrace. And please don't get me started on Murty. I've said from day one that he is not Rangers class. Yes, the players let the supporters down big-style but Murty let the players down and that's shocking!

  4. I think Murty was thrown under a bus tbh. I think it's worth keeping him at the club as its not his fault he is too inexperienced for the job. He did what he could. Let's face it, the players are terrible. Haliday is fan but that's all he is. He's never a Rangers player. Russel Martin needs someone to buy his a train ticket back to Norwich. Alves needs to leave. We need to keep the best young players and rebuild our team from back to front.

The next manager is so important if we want to challenge and so are the players he buys. I personally think we need a Walter Smith type figure which is why Steve Clark would be perfect. We don't want another experimental manager like DeBoar. We need someone who can give them a kick up the ass and make them understand what this club means to us.

If they board can't get a simple manager appointment right they need to go. I think we all know what's needed, it's pretty obvious to me. Let's give Murty some slack though, it's really not his doing.

  5. Not much more you can say! Absolute embarrassment! Murty is a joke. I don't want him in charge for 1 more game nevermind beyond this season. Infact, do we really want someone so naive and thoroughly inadequate in charge of our youth team? Players are a complete disgrace!

  6. Maybe its my age (54) but i could see this coming,i have had to listen to some amount of crap from some fans about windass morelos and the rest, never never never Rangers class. Lets wise up. Don't accept second place, wee are Glasgow Rangers, lets start acting like it starting from the board down.i dont have the answers for everything but what i do have is the loyalty and pride to keep going week in week out. 7. King,'Murty your not getting the job'. Murty, 'King your not getting to the final'. What a shambles.........

  8. They don’t care..Murty didn’t care. Almost felt that they were trying to lose

  9. From the Billy Boys to the Bullied boys. Shameful and pathetic..............we've heard it all before. Graeme Murty should resign immediately.
He simply won't play Cummings and does not try to win a game.
Would Walter Smith step in for five games?
An appointment of Stephen Robinson could be an improvement but the club are an absolute shambles on and off the park.
    Rangers have become unrecognisable.

  10. Has to be the Worst ever ...Cluless Gutless Pointless Hopeless ...Murty go now ...Why ...Why ?????

  11. Murty - I’m not going to say anything to the players just now as they’re hurting. We shall discuss it later and dissect the performance - that’s just it there was no fucking performance period.. The players are hurting my arse Martin walked off that pitch with not a fucking care in the world - not the only one may I add...

3 players I saw play with some heart Docherty Halliday and Morelos ( Halliday was raging but it wasn’t with being subbed ) There was no shape to that Team today too many bottle merchants..

It doesn’t matter what formation it is wither it’s 442 542 or that 4231 pish. If the cunts don’t want to play then it’s all irrelevant. Raging with that showing is an understatement...

  12. no spirit, no fight, lack of fitness, alves too old but better than young Mccrorie, too many players didnt turn up again. We made an average spl team look good, because we were so bad. Where do we go from here, blame the board for the manager fiasco, sell those that wont play and replace with better.

  13. Typical ...lets kick the young man who he's down. He took this job and has done his level best. Remember he has been 'a manager' only since December so what 16 matches and he is try to do his best for the biggest club in the country. Yet lets all blame him to make ourselves feel better. I'll bet you lot are among those so called 'supporters' who leave before the end!
Those players on that pitch let the manager down, let you and me down, let the entire Rangers family down. They didn't do there bloody jobs again. Heartless and gutless in the extreme.
Remember we have a load of matches that we need to win before the end of the season so lets get behind the club.

    1. I also feel Graeme was handed a very hot potato. He reluctantly took hold of it. It is burning his hand off. He should demand that potato be given back to its rightful owner, Dave King and get back to the job he came to do at Rangers.
By doing so he can keep his dignity if he refuses to hand in his resignation today he will only invite more personal abuse and deflect where the venom should be directed, Dave King.

    2. I don’t hold Murty responsible it’s the players that supposedly wanted him to keep the job that are to blame. It’s the worst performance I can ever remember seeing 🤬

    3. He picked the worst fucking team possible, a blind man could have picked a better squad the day, yip we are all hurting because Murty is a fucking wanker

    4. Alex...not sure Murty resigning would be helpful right now. They need to have an inquisition and then get their act together because the fans deserve to finish 2nd and hard as today is to take its gone now and they need to focus on the remaining games to restore their pride but more importantly ours. I think Murty got it wrong today but we need to be united for the remainder of the season then the board need to find a new revolutionary...thats what we need a new revolution like we have with Sounness....oh and some money to finance it.

  14. Not one of they cunts fit to wear that jersey, he didnae want say what needed to be said ,pussy the doors should be aff the hinges, but then again it's us the fans who have to live with the humiliation at work ect, while they hide in their swanky pads and 4x4's.i'd fine the cunt's for frauding that jersey. we'll see what the boards made of now, the gloves are aff.

    1. He should go postal wae them Scooby... My heart bleeds purple pish for them..You’re right the most of them are fucking mercenary's then you look at that mob they all play for the shirt...

    2. Let's deal with the facts. Murty was kicked into the deep end and is quite clearly out of his depth. King basically announces that Murty will not be manager next season, days before a semi against Celtic, a great morale boost for staff, players and fans. Wilson and Bates allowed to leave because we are so strong at the back, aye right. Supporters leaving before the final whistle have every right. They spend hard-earned cash to support the team but when they are presented with that pathetic display who can blame them for leaving. Your eyes can only take so much pain.

  15. That was the worst oldfirm performance ive ever seen, were they all on the piss lastnight or what lazy shitebags, get them all to f**k,we made septic look good there pish too europe showed that, unbelievable crap

  16. Murty isn’t the target here. Sure he got his selection and tactics wrong - but this should be expected. He’s a rookie manager learning his trade and he should never been put in this position by a negligible Board. King’s statement in the run up to the game was a disgrace. We the fans deserve transparency from King. We deserve to know what is truly going on inside the walls of Ibrox - because all is not well.
Meanwhile the truth of the matter is that there is not one single player that Rangers should hold on to if we can get a fee for them (however fanciful that sounds after today) - whether it is Morelos, Windass, Tavernier - and those here on loans (with the exception of Murphy - although he too was awful today) - can go back to their clubs anytime. Quite simply this Rangers team are a squad of serial losers! No bottle - no fight! As for Halliday whatever was shouted at him his reaction was a disgrace - if only he had shown some fight when he was on the field - and Candeias walking straight up the tunnel complaining about being substituted after one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen in a Rangers jersey - well no-one is fooled. So much easier to hide away in the dressing room after a performance like that and act all indignant rather than sit it out with your team mates in front of the fans. Neither player should ever pull on the shirt again. Maybe King’s ill timed statement granted both the freedom to disrespect Murty in that manner in front of Rodgers. Shameful!

    1. While I agree that today was diabolical, the fact is the players didn't turn up. As you say, that isn't Murty's fault.
But to bin the lot of them and replace them with players we think are good enough is going to cost tens of millions we don't have - so it's not going to happen.

      Delete
    2. My point is not to bin everyone but that there can be no question now of turning down a transfer fee for any of the current squad. Even the best of the players at the club has demonstrated time and time again that they don’t have the bottle or winning mentality to wear the Rangers jersey. We need to get whatever money we can to reinvest. Granted most of them we won’t get a penny for and we’ll simply have to wait until their contracts run down.

  17. I feel sorry for the loyal fans paying money to watch that crap,
Murty know hes out so hes gave up
    And wheres cummings ffs
Do the descent thing and resign murty today now and let jimmy takeover till end of season, till we get some cunt end that can do a job ffs

  18. 2nd to every ball shows the players failed to match the effort of the opponent AND that the system didn't work (whatever the system was as I couldn't tell and I don't think the players could)

A lack of effort is unforgivable and I'd not be sad to lose any of these players in the summer.

P.S - did we really turn down 11m for Morelos???!!!???

    ReplyDelete
  19. Massive changes needed - does anybody actually trust the board to get them right though?

  20. Bus leaving Ibrox.
    Be on it???
    Murty.
    Halliday.
    Holt.
    Dorrans.
    Windass.
    Miller.
    Herrera.
    Alves.
    Cordoso.
Doubt very much if any players on loan will get a contract including Murphy if our new manager watches that pile of shit.
McCorie is a holding midfielder not a CH and should have played there today.
Martin is pure pish he needs to retire ffs.
Worst performance I have ever seen by Rangers at Hampden by a long way!!

    1. I agree with most, although Windass is good at what he does (scores against wee teams, hides against Celtic). But if McCrorie had been holding in midfield, it would have been Martin and Alves in defence - that would not have been pretty

      Delete
    2. I’d give Dorrans a chance he’s being played out of position Robbie mate! The rest I agree with in total truth but you missed Foderingham too..Surprised to see McCrorie at CB I thought he’d be in front of the back two of Alves & that useless fucker Martin. Stevie Wonder could see that first goal coming..

      Delete
  21. Halliday, Holt, Martin, Dorrans, Candeias. Should be jottered 9am in the morning. O’Halloran, Dalcio, Dodoo & Herrera at 10 past.

The rest have 5 games that might save them. Otherwise they can all go. Cummings, Goss, Cardosa, Rossiter Miller, Barjonas in particular have the shoogliest of pegs.

Jimmy Nic to take the last 5 games as Murty given the choice of acedemy or leave.

Shambolic and our board have allowed it to happen.

As for the pish about ‘heart’ , ‘fight’ .... it’s about ability...footballing ability and the ability to influence games. We have nothing in the middle of the park or in the centre back area. The boy McRorie isn’t a CB. I’d build a team around him as a holding midfielder.

  22. Their is just no words for what happened today 😦😠😣💔💙
A painful one for all bluenoses
(myaelf included are hurting at the moment)

    To King, Park and Murty
FUCK OFF, You are No Longer Welcome!
    That was a Fuckin Disgrace!
That Team out there wasnt Rangers!

The following Players need to leave ASAP!
Fodringham, Dalcio, Miller, Windass, Dodoo, Herrera, Hodson, Rossiter, Pena Morelos 😣, Alves, Holt, Alnwick, O'Halloran, Forrester and Martin!

    Would Keep
Tav, John, Cardoso, Wallace, Jack, Dorrans, Halliday, Candeias, Cummings, Goss, Murphy, Kelly, Barjonas, McCrorie, Atakayi, Docherty
And the Lads out on Loan
    (Thompson, Hardie, Wilson, Lyons etc)

    Genuinly lost for words

  23. At the end of the day, we all know we do not have the team to either beat sellick in a one off game or consistently throughout the league season. The issues are readily evident, particularly with defence. It is about time we brought in 2 quality centre halves, a commanding goal keeper (why not McGregor?), hope rossiter and jack can remain unscathed throughout a season, bring moult back and personally, keep cummings but without a doubt, sell morelos (if he is rangers class, I went to the wrong school!!) and if middleton is as good as everybody thinks, play him ffs!
