Following some negative press in the past few days, Rangers have bounced back with a much more uplifting story, in confirming star striker Alfredo Morelos has signed a new deal to take him to 2021.
The 21-year old Colombian hitman has been a revelation in Scotland since his low-key move from Finnish cracks HJK, soaring up the scoring charts, and winning fans over in abundance as he netted goal after goal, and this excellent move both commits him to the club longer term, while protecting his value further to Rangers should anyone ever try to make a move for him.
Rangers fans, excited enough about Sunday as it is, were thrilled about this story and were quick to reveal just how important a move it is to them, and what kind of impact keeping one of the club’s most valuable assets will have.
