Rangers confirm signing target being watched

Rangers manager Mark Warburton today confirmed speculated signing target Tom Bradshaw had been watched, but claimed there was no interest in bringing the player to Ibrox.

Bradshaw, 23, is subject to transfer speculation in light of his stellar displays for League 1 Walsall, and Rangers had been linked with a move for the Welsh striker in recent days.

Warburton confirmed Head of Recruitment Frank McParland has indeed been watching the striker, but stopped short of saying any move was imminent.

He said:

“I had five calls yesterday about Tom Bradshaw. Frank McParland went to watch them (Walsall) play and from that they just take 2+2=5. But there’s no truth in that. He’s a very talented player, there’s a number of players in the league playing there and he’s one of them but we know him very well.”

Warburton is a master of dealing with the media so who knows if there is or is not truth in the story.

  1. Anyone getting rather hacked of with speculation of signings can't believe that people don't have confidence in the team we have. After all they have us in the driving seat magic hat can keep us in the lead.

  2. If we get knocked out of the Scottish Cup by a mid league SPFL team and lose to Hibs in the next meeting Then all hell will be let loose.
If Warbs thought previous criticism was out of order he ain't seen nothing yet.
